Just want to say a big thank you for all your care and concern during my time of disability.

I am almost back to normal, just waiting for the toes to stop its tiggle and the occasional pins and needles to stop coming. hOhoHo..

Going back to Perth on the 3th. Hope everyone stay happy and grounded. Stay in touch with each other okie.. Dont let busy schedules and laziness keep you all part. Went there for dinner. The servings for the main dishes were quite generous, tts why its alittle pricy! The steak was quite nicely done. Can consider going there for the next birthday celebration. The ambience okay also, not too bad. Inconclusion:

Price: 3/5 (Pricy but its okay for the pocket if 2 people share 1 main course)

Christmas Plans!

Hello all..

Now that everyone is free and happy.. (sorry naima that u are sick, take care!) its time to make plans for Christmas! Are we still spending it together like always?

Anyway, there is a chance that my parents and my sis will be goin on a holiday. if that happens, i will have the hse to me and my brother. I was thinking I would cook up a christmas feast for u babes that i miss so dearly. that is if u all dun have other plans and that my parents are away. Actually even if they nv go i can still do it but may just invite u all only.

With this plan we can avoid the squeezing and boob-touching ah nehs and enjoy a yummy meal cooked with LOVE on a hot and sticky christmas eve or christmas night.

I might also invite some of my other frens to my hse.. this is my plan to meet everyone at one shot.. hehe.. All bfs and potential bf will be invited as well.

BUt this is jus a plan.. whether this plays out depends on my parents.. all will be confirmed when i return on the 12th dec.

hOPE EVeryone has been well.. cant wait to get to singapore!!!

havin said that, I alr got a receptionist job at MARSH - this marine insurance investment firm, starting work on monday till end of this month so i m not slackin as much, hence dun be too jealous that i m so free lol. i suffered enough for the sem!

had great fun today did super alot of things.

5. Shopped at Heeren
6. Ate Mala Steamboat at bugis
7. Chilled out at Loof (this rooftop bar at Odean Tower, its quite a cool place!)

Felt so accomplished and yet lost cos i'm havin too much spare time on hand. LOL okie thy shall brag no more.

1. Being A Virgin = A dinosaur

I think whether u are a virgin or not is really up to you and not much of others' opinion. There seriously nothing wrong abt being one and wanting to be one. Even if the society is liberal it doesnt mean u got to throw away something precious just like that. Coming from a prudent me who dun even like to watch porn (which i really dun like so stop asking me to watch my love!), its not something unexpected.

Gathering my informal interviews during StompAids earlier lol, stayin as a virgin and havin premarital sex is a complex issue all together. I think it depends on the context of HOW it happened and WHY it happened. Like i would despise if its like one night stand and just for the need of it. On the other hand its perfectly normal for some couples together for a long period even perhaps 2,3 years and did it cos they are truly in love or that they determine to go a long way and she's the one to be with that kind of stuff. i think that's completely alright.

I can go on and on but the pt is even if i m the only dinosaur, its still important to stay as one. Dun bow down to societal norms! Its good to have ur own stand! STAY FIRM STAY V LOL.

haha i had the same experience also. it's just so that i will really happen to wake up to find my phone rang and i would bother to go read the msg and it would happen to be of my interest to reply and gave the sender a shock cos i m not suppose to be awake. lol. strange indeed i dunno why.

just one more sem to go, u r graduating alr!! Try to concentrate. Easier said then done too but i guess its a pscyological thing, you just got to convince urself. IF my sis who hates sch as much as u can grad, so can u!

On the 23/10/2006, I made an online purchase from the singtelshop.com having known that a promotion was going on. Newline signups can enjoy $50 off the original price of the phone. I applied for the ioneplus students plan where at the end of my purchase I had to acknowledge a condition by singtel which states:
If you are holding one of the following passes, please fax a copy to 68410373.
1. Employment Pass with a validity period of 12 months.
2. Work Permit/Social/Dependent Pass/Passport with validity of more than 6 months
3. Student Pass

The requirement was grouped together with employment pass and work permit. Therefore, I would naturally think that the student pass required was a student pass that foreigners are holding. There were no notifications for me to fax in any supporting documents nor was it stated when I should fax in the supporting documents. Apart from receiving bad customer service which I had already feedbacked to singtel (Ref: STM/06/11/CRD96897), I am terribly disappointed that I have not gotten any refund for my purchase. The amount to be paid was timely deduct from my account. I called in to 1626 several times to check on the status and to my disgust, the operators were all making a fool out of me when they assured that they will get back to me at a particular time which apparently has not occured. I had called the my bank and they reconfirmed that no refunds were reflected over at their side. I was told by the 1626 staff that the amount had already been credited back to me but it would take up to 1-2 months. I was greatly taken aback by this. Singtel had promptly deducted the amount from me but probably due to terribly bad redtape, I have to wait 1 month to get my refund. I hope that this matter would be looked into. Lastly, if my problem still cannot be solved after the so many phone calls and this email, I would have to seek alternatives such as the ST forum or CASE. Thank you for your kind attention

what happened to the importance of customer satisfaction???

RIght now im damn damn pissed off.. recently i had problems with my 10mbp singnet connection and called their helpdesk a few times to solve my problem. The issues had been resolved but i was subjected to TERRIBLE customer service. The telephone operators did not sound like chinese nor malay.. they had a hard time trying to understand my english.. im very sure my english is not incomprehensible. Usually when u call in they would say tt at the end of the call u would be redirected to a customer survey..there was once when i called in.. i got so pissed off with the operator that i had to raise my voice. i had to call in twice and kena-ed the same operator.. how lucky.. nonetheless the problem was solved in the end. so i waited for the operator to direct my call to the SURVEY. i was shocked!

sT: ok ( still holding on)
not chinese not malay operator: you HAVE TO hang up
sT: i tot im suppose to do a survey?!
not chinese not malay operator: we have to end the call.

On 30/10/2006 between 820-835pm, I called in to 1626 to enquire regarding my purchase on singtel shop that was cancelled. A phone operator by the name of Hamidah took my call. She took a long time trying to understand my problem and there were miscommunications regarding the details involved. She took quite sometime to check out the details of my purchase but to my disappoint, she got my phone model wrong and insisted that the promotional rate was still effective. She even insisted that i had receive a sms informing me on the cancellation which apparently was not the case. I had to repeat myself umpteen times to make my point. At the end of our conversation, I was expecting a survey to be put through as this was stated at the beginning of the call. To my horror, my call just ended abruptly and I was greatly taken aback.I truly hope that the matter would be looked into as I always had the impression that singtel provides the best customer service with their well trained staff.

Hello everyone!! hows it going??

My one week break ends today. Super sian. spend my one week teaching these two little boys from sydney how to swim. I didn do much teaching though, suffering many kicks in the stomach and screams in my face. DUno if they aired SUper Nanny in Singapore. if they did, this two boys are like those uncontrollable children. on the last day, their mum also give up.. ask me to take control and she went into a concern.
BUt i think after this two. i can teach any children and my patience improve like ten zillion times la. haha..

anyway.. had frens over yesterday and they were thinkin of english names for me.. so wat u are think of claire?? claire Ong. can ?? tell me wat all think leh?? haha.. sooner or later a english name will be easier lah.. let me know okie??hehe

Mass Rapid Transit madness

I believe many of us who commuteto school or work by MRT would have experienced or seen at least one of the incidents that I would be bringing up..

1) I shall start of with the most common scene during the peak hours. Usually when we are waiting for the train to arrive we would be standing at the sides of the door.. recap.. I said ‘usually’. however, some ppl especially the middle age women who belongs to the ah soh category are damn astonishing lol.. you noe they are really so tired and \/\/ that they have to grab a seat the minute the train pulls over.. so these ah sohs will stand not at the side of the door but smack in the middle where the door opens up.. then they would be the first person to rush into the car.. HELLO if I don’t friggin get my ass out how are u friggin gonna get a seat.. I would then have to put my strong shoulders to good use.. fark care their fragile brittle bones and push my way out..knocking as many of them as I could.=D

2) when the train its damn packed and u have to stand or sit so close to each other you had better pray its early in the morning when everyone is cleanly washed up .. however, the not so lucky u may be caught in the sardine packed carriage in mid day when the school boys just finished their soccer game or in the evening when the middle aged men had just knocked off.. what may seem to smell like rotten garlic, clogged sewage is actually not rotten garlic neither is it the clogged sewage.. These men are giving off their so called “ nan ren wei” which will NV attract any potential girls/ladies ard.. Please! Calling out to pple who are caught in such situations.. BE brave stand up like literally for urself.. move away and take a breather.. dun say paiseh or wad later faint u noe wads paiseh..

3) When the car is already damn packed during the peak hours some ppl who really think they can still squeeze in will keep pushing AND pushing. My fren who stands at above 1.8m encountered this. He was leaning against the glass panel and seeing that theres really no space left he had to block out the guy who seem so desperate to get into the train. However, to his surprise the very desperate man charged at him and made him fall str8 into the crowd.. Ahhhs and Oooohs echoed ard him haha.. Not a pushover, he immediately stood up.. gave the guy a push and successfully shoved himout of the train.. Then, as the door was going to close signaled by the ‘didididi’ sound, he frantically stepped back into the train. A heated argument arose.
My fren: you rushing to hell? The next train is only 4 mins later
.Desperate man: I was in a rusT ( he has a short tongue LOL)
BUt to push someone you must bear in mind tt you must have the LIAO in order to do so.. if not..
according to suuch..

4) When you’re along on the train during peak hours.. you have no choice but to stand close and I mean close enuff to XXXXX.. u better pray tt nth would happen to u haha. Another of my fren.. being caught in tt situation was violated by a farking disgusting smelly cao ah neh. My love Ms Lim had been telling me that I blog as if peachybitchy is mine. LOL. As such, I would make a deliberate effort not to blog as much and leave some room for the other dearest Serene Ang and Lin HuiFen whom have MIA for quite some time.

Ok before I move offline to stop blogging as often, hereby leave behind a last story.

Once upon a time, there lived a Princess in the faraway castle of Zion. One day upon playing by the lakeside, she met a frog prince and both uncannily became best of friends. Till then, both often met up to kill boredom together.

Words spread, and this became known to the other Princesses who mischievously disturbed the Princess about it. Rumors of a romance manifesting between a Princess and a frog spread like wild fire and it much displeased the Princess. Spoiled and stubborn, she was determined to prove all wrong. Contradictory, it was still her wish to maintain the friendship established so she remained good friends with the frog, making a point to remain that as status quo.

Her frustrations didn’t end just there, the news slowly spread to all the other royalties and the mounting teases continued. She maintained her cool and displayed a heck-care front yet secretly suppressing those annoyances. Finally, she couldn’t stand it one day so emotions exploded and she told the frog prince off, blaming him for all those remarks. Impressively, the frog prince fake ignorance and continued to invite the Princess out to play. Much as the Princess fumbled in question marks, she went ahead and slowly became ashamed of her previous accusation towards the frog. No words were ever mentioned and things just went on as usual.

This carried on for years and though the teasing never failed to stop, both became immune and couldn’t be more bothered. They pursued their own path in life and still remain as close friends.

Somehow, some day, some time, something triggered within. This feeling that slowly piles up and eventually leading to self recognition. Prior to the previous determination, faking ignorance was attempted but it grew stronger that decision was made not to be childish and just go with the heart.

Just at this point in time, the frog prince had also grown up to a charming young prince and is taking over his father’s empire. With that, he constantly traveled around and met lots of other beauties around the world.

Precisely so, the Princess never mentioned much to the Prince. Moreover, it was always an unspoken taboo between them to not mention any affairs of the heart. In her diary, the Princess once wrote:

Selfless as I thought I was, sorrow, disappointment and frustrations still set in. But truly, it doesn’t matter how I feel but his happiness. Let him chance upon the other princesses and if any caught his eyes, let them be blissful forever. For I would always be here wishing him well and loving him. This is all that I need to know.

Even though identify of the prince remained unknown, the princess did marry a loving prince many years later and like all fairy tales, lead a happy life ever after.
